REGULATIONS FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY
The German regulation calls for a priority in the regulations for renewable energy (EEG regulation) which is then transferred into the general electrical grid. The local electrical companies are dedicated to buy this power to a regulated set fee. This EEG regulation came into force on the 1st of April 2000. An amendment of this regulation was stipulated on the 1st. of August 2004.
Per Kilowatt power (KWh), which is won through the sun, is reimbursed with minimum 21,11 Euro Cent. This is based on the actual situation in the year 2011. It varies according to the systems size and capacity and is paid for no less than 20 years.
